Amount limit

Set a maximum issuance amount — a guardrail that prevents accidentally issuing documents for unusually large sums.

Why it's useful

The amount limit is a maximum value for a single document. If an issue exceeds the limit, Mekusheret blocks it and shows a warning. It's a guardrail against typos (like an extra zero) or unexpected amounts.

Set the limit

  1. 1

    Open Mekusheret settings

On the board, open settings and choose “Amount limit”.

  2. 2

    Enter a maximum amount

Type the highest amount allowed for a single document.

  3. 3

    Save

From now on, any issue above the amount is blocked until approved.

What happens when you exceed the limit

When a document's amount is higher than the limit, the issue button shows a warning and the action won't run. You can correct the amount, or raise the limit in settings if the issue is genuinely valid.

The limit applies to the document's total amount. Leave it empty if you don't want a limit.
