Your first invoice
A full walkthrough of issuing your first document — from opening the Mekusheret tab on an item to confirming and writing the document number back to the board.
Before you start
Before your first issue, make sure of three things: Mekusheret is installed on the board, your Morning account is connected, and your columns are mapped (at least the customer name and amount). If not, start with “Connect your Morning account” and “Column mapping”.
Open the Mekusheret tab on an item
Every issue starts from a board item. Open the item for the customer you want to bill, and select the Mekusheret tab.

Review the details
Mekusheret pre-fills the document fields from the columns you mapped: the customer name, the amount, and any other field you configured. Review the details and make sure they're correct.

Choose a document type
Pick an invoice-receipt, a receipt, or a tax invoice. Not sure? See “Document types”.

Check the customer and amount
Confirm the name and amount pulled from the board are correct before issuing.

Fill in anything missing
If a required field is empty (for example an email), complete it on the issuance screen.
Issue and confirm
Click “Issue document”. Mekusheret sends the request to Morning, the document is created, and a confirmation appears with the document number and a link to the document in Morning.
After issuing, the document number and status update automatically on the board item. That's it — you've issued your first document.
